was Helen Keller?
Helen Keller
was an admirable woman who changed the world in many ways. Being blind and deaf, she didn’t have an easy life. However,
she overcame all of the obstacles that life threw at her. She lived in a time when the world wasn’t kind to the handicapped.
Blind and deaf people never amounted to anything, and were shunned by the rest of society. Helen was the turning point for
this time, and enabled people to see that someone different could amount to something. She stayed strong, stuck to
her ambitions, and is the icon of the deaf and blind even today.
